Our signature, P.O.D. Education Program™ —which stands for Part-Time, On-Site, Direction—offers families a flexible academic solution where students attend 2 or 3 days per week in close-knit groups. These small, focused pods provide the structure and support of a private school, with the freedom and customization of alternative education.

Hi there! I’m Jess—founder of The Hub, mom of two, and a passionate advocate for families like mine who are just trying to do what’s best for their kids. I created The Hub not just as an educational center, but as a solution—because I needed one too.
Like many parents, I was overwhelmed by the daily grind—drop-offs, pick-ups, appointments, and the constant rush. As my children approached school age, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the traditional model wasn’t right for us. My research confirmed it: academic decline, safety concerns, and mental health challenges were everywhere. I knew I couldn’t send my kids into a system I no longer trusted.
In my search for something better, I explored homeschooling—and discovered a fast-growing but underserved community. Parents were craving flexibility, support, and connection, but too often found themselves navigating it alone. At the same time, I was midway through my doctoral program in Educational Leadership—learning how to run schools. That’s when I realized: If I can’t find what I’m looking for... why not build it myself?
What began as a personal vision quickly evolved into a full educational solution. At the heart of it all is the P.O.D. Education™ Program—short for Part-Time. On-Site. Direction. This flexible micro school model offers 2- and 3-day, academically rich pods led by certified educators. It’s built to support modern families with evolving dynamics—those who homeschool, work part-time, manage second-shift schedules, or simply want more balance. As family life changes, so should the model that supports our children’s learning.
The Hub is more than an alternative—it’s a reimagining. A place where children thrive, and families come back together.
